OMG!! A Big Earthquake in Niigata!!

How's it going?

I'm sure some of you guys were made to get up by a relatively big earthquake that struck Niigata Prefecture.
The seismic intensity of the quake was level 5＋. Wow! Hoverer, many areas did not shake severely. Small aftershocks happened in the area several times so far as well.

As for Niigata, 2 massive earthquakes hit Niigata in the past.
Sadly, some precious lives were deprives by the quakes.
However, recovery of Niigata was so fast because people in that prefecture were bound together closely! I do respect them.

The massive unprecedented earthquake that hit eastern Japan heavily has made us learn we must prepare for unanticipated accidents and earthquakes at any time.

I'm ashamed to admit that I did not prepare for unintended earthquakes like one that occurred on March 11, 2011 because I had not had experienced massive earthquake like this.

Now I am making a list about what to prepare for any unanticipated earthquakes and natural disasters that might occur in the near future.

How about you, everybody? You guys are now well prepared? Or not?

We can never foretell when earthquakes will occur, so let's get started right now!

The Eathquake and Reactions of TEPCO to It

Let me first say this;

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the people of Japan and in particular the Tohoku region for their suffering and loss caused by the unprecedented massive earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011.
Never give up, Tohoku and Japan!

We have been still suffering from the aftereffects of the massive earthquake that caused unprecedented damages to the wide range of regions of east Japan.
As you already know, the massive earthquake measured 9.0 on the Richter Scale, which is the biggest quake ever in the Japanese history of the earthquakes that happened in the past.

More than 100,000 people are still forced to spend evacuation lives, where no individual privacy is properly ensured and protected.

It may not be an exaggeration to say that the unavoidable and continual concerns to which we pay attention most right now are the Fukushima Nuclear Plants troubles.
Of course, we should be prepared to aftershocks as well.

The Tokyo Electric Power Company, which is also known as TEPCO, has been under harsh criticism of people who live outside their hometowns, specialists on radiation and so on.

TEPCO said we did not have to worry about the nuclear plant accidents right after the big quake, but many facts TEPCO did not show to people have come to light after many days later of the quake. How come? No one knows? Hmmm...

Little news of the accidents made a lot of people who live in Fukushima feel uneasy because they did not know if they should escape or stay as they are.
TEPCO's late reactions to the quake brought a torrent of anger and questions regarding TEPCO'S compensation to them and more.

Many TV news programs broadcast moments of people who live outside Fukushima showing their indignation to TEPCO employees and president.
I can understand what people think. If people's life would be entirely changed by accidents like these just mentioned above, might wrong to say that neglect of proper maintenance caused this unprecedented accidents.

How long would it take to spend the same life before March 11, 2011?
After 10 or 20 years? OMG!!
One British magazine says that it might take 100 years! Ha? What the heck?

Would these accidents be the undesired revival of the Chernobyl Accidents? No way!

Please note these are just my opinions, so they are not useful.

Let me talk about this topic later someday.

It's been more than 2 months since the ...

How are you guys?

It's been more than 2 moths sine the massive unprecedented earthquake occurred on March 11, 2011.

I'm sure that this day will be the day that everybody will never forget eternally.
In addition, it will be a useful lesson for future children in case of the same type of disaster that would happen in the future.

I've learned from this disaster that we must be well prepared for the upcoming disasters that we can neither foretell nor think when they will happen.

On March 11, I was in Shibuya to go to Tokyu Department Store to look for a book on company management.
A big quake occurred when I was absorbent in reading a book about that topic. The quake became bigger and bigger as time elapsed.
I was shocked to know that the largest intensity of the quake was 7 in Miyagi Prefecture.
Also big stunami hit Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima, Ibaraki and Chiba.

I couldn't stop crying for a while when I watched the news that told more than 15,000 precious lived were deprived by by unprecedented big tsunami.

We must instill the fact that we cannot escape from quakes that might happen in the future and we should be well prepared for them in our minds.

Also, we must swear that we would live long lives for the lost lives that were deprived by this earthquake.
