again, we went out for new year's luncheon held at our relative's place. everyone (of course, except for kids) is the booze king; therefore, i passed out again..... we prepared new year's gift for kids (thank god we did!) but we didn't know how old they were, so we were a little off the price range but the thing is that my wife got the gift too (oops but thanks anyways).
thank you everyone for inviting us for the luncheon! thanks to everyone for such generous and cheerful hospitality, i could have a good time (for one half of my stay)!!
今日も再び親戚の家で催された午餐へ。皆さん（勿論、子供たちは除きますが）酒飲みの方々ばかり。お陰様でまたもや撃沈・・・。でお年玉を用意していたんですが（良かった～）、年齢が確認できていなかったために金額が若干相場から外れていたかな、と。それよりも、逆にうちの奥さんがお年玉を貰っていた（ありゃりゃ、でも有難うございます）。
招待いただき、有難うございました！ 皆さんの優しく陽気なおもてなしのお陰で、（滞在時間の半分だけではありましたが）楽しいひと時を過ごすことができました!!
