i heard that the originator/pioneer/innovator of the cafe with dj booth in fukuoka, e.pi:cafe will be closed in a month or so. ever since 244 of ticro market
introduced to me, i had gone to the cafe so many times. there, many dj's of many genres played every night (still?), and it was such a great place to hang out. i still remember that imanaka-san, the one half of the owners of the cafe, passionately played the percussion to the music at late night.
but at the same time, i also heard that the cafe will be relocated to somewhere. and i hope so.
福岡でのdjブース付カフェの先駆者、エピ・カフェがあと1ヵ月くらいで閉店するという話を耳にしました。チクロ・マーケット の244君に紹介してもらって以来、よく足を運んだものです。そこでは毎夜毎夜、様々なジャンルの多くのdjがプレイしており（今も？）、ハング・アウトするには最高の場所でした。深夜にはオーナーの今中さんが音楽に合わせて情熱的にパーカッションを叩いている姿を今でも覚えています。
一方、どこかに場所を変えるという話も。そうだといいんだけど。
