last night, i went to lounge roots tokyo to celebrate its 2nd anniversary. the party was collabrated with seven sounds by cigarette brand seven star, featuring junji ishiwatari (ex-supercar) as a headliner and spakle. i got there little before midnight and there was already a long line of people at the entrance waiting to get in, so i was kinda worried about how long it would take to get in but i was lucky that yamakawa-san and okuma-san saw me and takeshi-san, the owner, was just behind me, so i could get in there smoothly. thank you very much.
there, second and first floor were pretty much packed but takeshi-san was kind enough that he reserved a seat for me. the laser lighting and vj was pretty amazing, and the music was pretty good too, which was a mixture of electro/techno/rock. in between the sets, sparkle crew and takeshi-san djed funky and groovy stuff.
昨晩は2周年記念のお祝いでラウンジ・ルーツ・トウキョウに。パーティーはタバコ銘柄のセブン・スターによるセブン・サウンズ、sparkleとのコラボで、いしわたり淳治さん（元supercar）をヘッドライナーとしてフィーチャー。0時ちょい前に着いたんですが、エントランスの前は既に長蛇の列。中に入るのに結構時間がかかるかと思っていたら、偶然にも山川さん、大隈さんが気付いてくれ、オーナーの武士さんもちょうど僕の真後ろにいたんですんなりと入ることができました。有難うございました。
中に入ると2階も1階もパック状態。ですが、武士さんが親切にもシートを取っていてくれていました。で、レーザーを使った照明やvjは凄かったし、音もエレクトロ／テクノ／ロックをミックスしたような感じで良かったです。セットの合間にはsparkleの皆さん、武士さんがファンキー、グルーヴィーな曲をプレイ。
i didn't think i drank a lot but i guess i did as i missed the stop to get off the train on the way back home. anyway, congratulations on the 2nd anniversary, and big up to takeshi-san and all the lounge roots tokyo staffs! wishing you all the best!! oh, don't forget about musique du jour.....
それほど沢山お酒を飲んだつもりはなかったんですが、どうもそうだったようです。と言うのも、帰りに自分の駅を乗り過ごしてしまったもんで。まぁそんなこんなですが、武士さんをはじめラウンジ・ルーツ・トウキョウのスタッフの皆さん、2周年、本当におめでとうございます！ 今後とも宜しくお願い致します。皆さんのご成功をお祈り申し上げます!! あ、musique du jourもお忘れなく・・・。
