considering the fact that it was in tokyo, snowing on saturday night to sunday was like blizzard. i don't mind walking on snowy road at all but i hate things get wet. anyway, we did the first night of mdj. well, because a lot of issues piled up, it was not fully successful..... but i think it was a good start; there's a lot of things to concern but we can raise mdj to be a big one.
there, we talk about the concept of mdj. concept is an important part but at the same time, it gets tough when you are strapped with the concept because you may not be able to move freely, you know? having said that, if you don't set the concept, the whole thing will get blurry. i guess the blance is the key. this is not a dance event but a lounge party.
東京だということを踏まえると、土曜の夜から日曜日にかけての雪は吹雪のようでしたね。雪道を歩くのは全然問題ないんですが、濡れるのが嫌です。と言うわけで、mdjの最初の夜だったわけですが、え～っとですね、色々なことが積み重なりまして大成功とは・・・。ただ、良いスタートを切れたのではないかと。考慮すべきことは沢山ありますが、これから育てていければと思っています。
mdjのコンセプトなんかについても話しました。コンセプトは重要、でもそれに縛られてしまうと動きにくくなることもありますよね？ とは言うものの、今度はコンセプトがないと全体がぼやけてしまいますし。バランスがポイントかと。mdjはダンス向けのパーティーではなく、ラウンジ・パーティーです。
