, starting from saturday, february 2 (every first, forth and fifth saturdays of the month). this is the new style of party the lounge roots tokyo will throw; earch dj will select wide variety of music to fit in the atmosphere and/or space to amuse you with his/her eclectic taste. so, if you will be in nishiazabu/roppongi area on this coming saturday night, please come down to the party, have some drinks and enjoy your night.
2月2日の土曜日からラウンジ・ルーツ・トウキョウ でスタートするラウンジ・パーティーの情報です（第1、第4、第5土曜日）。これはラウンジ・ルーツ・トウキョウが提供する新しいスタイルのパーティーであり、それぞれのdjが多岐に渡る音楽的趣向を基に雰囲気や空間にマッチした音楽をセレクトします。と言うわけで、今週の土曜日に西麻布／六本木界隈にいらっしゃる予定の方、ぜひお越しください。そして、お酒を飲みながら夜を楽しんでください。

she started her career in apparel business and as a model. now, she belongs to armani lounge "prive" as a music selector and adviser. she also involves in composing music for websites and fashion industry which is deeply connected with music as well as fashion brand called "suiren." her dj play style is non-stereotyped genre-free select style with electro being the main part blending rock/popmix, etc. (resident on 4th saturday)
福岡にてアパレル業、同時にモデルとしてスタート。現在ではarmani lounge「prive」の楽曲セレクター＆アドバイザーとして所属。hp楽曲製作や、また音楽と深い繋がりのあるファッション業界にも携わり、ファッションブランド「suiren」にも所属している。djプレイはElectroを中心にrock、popmixなど枠に囚われない自由なselect style。（第4土曜日レギュラー）
dj-takeshi
he went to the u.s. as a member of "ondekoza" a japanese drum group and started his musical career. later, he was inpired by italo-house and new jack swing, and he learned dj by himself. at predominate "j-men's," he learned the fundamentals of entertainment such as sound systems, lightings and renditions. in 1995, he opened a bar "roots" and "club-oxu." in 2006, he opened "roots-tokyo" in nishiazabu, tokyo. he expanded his activities to the center of japan, and now he goes back and forth tokyo and fukuoka. his dj style is eclectic selection beyond genres and generations, ranging from mellow down tempo to aggressive up-beat. (resident on 1st, 4th and 5th saturdays)
和太鼓集団「鬼太鼓座」のメンバーとして渡米、音楽活動をスタート。その後、1991年よりイタロハウスとニュージャックスイングに刺激を受け独学でdjを学ぶ。一世を風靡した「j-men's」ではdjの基礎であるpaや照明、演出等、エンターテイメントの基礎を学び、95年にbar「roots」と「club-oxu」をopen。2006年には東京・西麻布に「roots-tokyo」をopen。活動の拠点を中央に広げ現在は東京と福岡を往復する日々。メロウなdownテンポなsetからアグレッシブなup-beatまでジャンル、年代を超えた幅広いセレクトが自身のスタイル。（第1、第4、第5土曜日レギュラー）
