i know that japanese yen has been weak aganst other major currencies but didn't know how much weak to british pound. when i used to go to london as business trips when i was in the previous company, the rates were like somewhere around 195-210 yen. now, british pound once went over 250yen and closed at 249,809775yen.
i haven't had a chance to go there after i left the previous company but even if i get a chance, i wonder whether i could afford (considering the current exchange rate)..... on the other hand, those who are from uk would be easy to come visit to japan.
対主要通貨での円安が続いているのは知っていたんですが、英ポンドに対してここまで弱くなっているとは知りませんでした。前の会社でロンドンに出張していた頃は1ポンド＝195～210円くらいだったんですよね。それが今では250円を一時突破し、249.809775円で場を引けたみたいです。
前の会社を辞めてからというもの、行く機会はないんですが、もし機会があったとしても、（為替の状況を踏まえると）はたして（予算的に）行けるかどうか・・・、といったところです。一方、向こうから日本への観光は来やすくなっているんでしょうね。
