i got bunch of giveaway stuff at convenience stores when i bought cartons of cigarettes. but this time, i noticed that i got a lot of match boxes instead of lighters. i guess it's because of the cost-efficient promotion.
コンビニでタバコをカートンで買ったら、また色々と貰ったわけなんですが、今回はライターの代わりにマッチがあれこれ入っているのに気付きました。多分、マッチの方がコスト効率の良いプロモーションになるんでしょう。
these are a couple of what i got. i still don't like the logos..., maybe it's because the brand is not the one i smoke. nah, i just don't like it, i guess.
これらは色々貰った中のライター。でも、ロゴがいただけません・・・。多分、自分が吸っている銘柄じゃないから。いや、単純に好きじゃないだけか。
these are the ones i also got. i guess the production cost is lower than lighters. not a bad design but as you can instantly imagine by looking at the design, this isn't my brand either.
これも貰いもの。ライターよりも生産コストが安いんでしょうね。デザインは悪くないんですが、見た目ですぐに分かるようにこれも自分の銘柄じゃない。

i heard that london finally banned smoking in public buildings..... i wonder how long from now on i will smoke. and if i ever face the situation of quitting smoking in the future, will it be done by my own will or will it be forced to do son by outside pressures..... in any ways, i still seek for better life.
とうとうロンドンでも人が集まる建物の中での喫煙が禁止になったということを耳にしました・・・。自分は、こらから一体いつまでタバコを吸い続けるんでしょうかね。そして、もし禁煙しなければならない状態に直面した時、はたしてそれは自分自身の意志によるものか、それとも外部圧力によるものなのか、気になるところです。いずれにしても、ベター・ライフを求めていくことになるんでしょうが。
