the other day, my wife asked me to combine several separate music files into a non-stop mix kinda like file, to use it at an event. the music files were from the us company, and originally, it was a non-stop mix but they sent the music in separate files. she received the music files a day before the event!! she and her fellows had to practice with the music but they couldn't as they were bothered by the blanks in tracks. needless to say that all the company staffs were in panic.
先日、うちの奥さんから、イベントで使用するために複数の個別音楽ファイルをノンストップ・ミックスみたいな感じで1つのファイルにまとめるよう頼まれたわけです。曲のファイルは米国から送られてきており、元々はノンストップ・ミックスだったのが、曲を別々のファイルで送ってきたのでありました。で、うちの奥さんはそのファイルをイベントの前日に受け取ったのです!! うちの奥さんと仲間達はその音楽に合わせて練習しなければならなかったんですが、なんせ曲間にブランクがあるため、練習なんてできたもんじゃなかったようです。会社の人達もパニックに陥ったのは言うまでもありませんね。
so, she sent me the files but i could not listened to them at all. then she forwarded me the original mail, and this time, i could listened to them. so, i first burned the files to cd with "don't make blanks in tracks" function in the software, so that there wouldn't be blanks.
で、ファイルを送ってもらったんですが、なぜか聴けず。それで、もともとのメールを転送してもらったら、やっと聴くことができたわけです。それから、まずは「曲間に無音部分を作らない」機能を使ってファイルをcdに焼いてみました。
i listened to the burnt cd afterwards, and yes, blanks were almost eliminated but still there were like 0.1-second blanks..... but they were like skipping noises due to minor scratches or dusts on records. then i had to send the music by email to her right away as she was in such a rush. however, i didn't know how to send the file by email. there were almost no blanks in the cd but if i were to send the music, i had to send music files, which meant files were "separated" and there would be again blanks in tracks when they played. if i could just give the cd to her, that would be no problem but there wasn't time left to do that.
焼いたcdを聴いてみたら、ブランクはほぼ無くなっていたんですが、それでも0.1秒程度のブランクはありました・・・。ただ、このブランクはレコードについた小さなキズないしはゴミのせいでちょこっと針が飛んだ感じ程度でした。で、これをすぐにもメールで送らなければならなかったわけです（急いでいましたからね）。しか～し!! どうやってメールで送ったらよいのか分からない。cdで聴く限りではブランクはほとんどないわけですが、メールで送る場合にはファイルを送らなければならず、そのファイルはというと「別々の｣ファイルになってしまうわけで、結局は再生した時にブランクができてしまうわけなんですよ。cdを渡せたら問題なかったんですが、そんな時間もなかったし。
yes, i needed to combine those files but i didn't know how to do it. i guess i need editing software to do that, no?? anway, what i did was record the cd with audio cd recorder in analog record mode while playing the burnt cd by the audio cd player. by doing so, i could make one music file (one track) as a whole, and i could send it to her as one file.
そう、結局はそれらのファイルを1つに合体させる必要があったんですが、やり方知りません。恐らくは編集ソフトなんかが必要なのでは?? と言うわけで自分がやったのは、オーディオのcdプレーヤーで再生しながら、それをオーディオのcdレコーダーでアナログ・モードで録音するというやり方。こうすることで、全部を1曲として録音することができ、1つのファイルとして送ることができたわけであります。
i finally sent the file to her, and everyone was so happy about that. i'm glad that i have a audio cd recorder.
やっとのことでファイルを送ることができ、皆さんも喜んでいたようです。オーディオのcdレコーダーを持ってて良かった良かった・・・。
