i met up with my wife in shinjuku and looked for a place to eat in west exit area. but there were many diner-like places where smoking is not allowed, and we did not want to go to "izakaya" places, so we had to wonder around..... finally, we found a chinese restaurant. anyway, we have to admit the fact that smokers are pushed to the side.....
うちの奥さんと新宿で落ち合い、西口付近で食べるところを探しに。ですが、禁煙のカウンター型のお店が多く、しかも居酒屋系には入りたくなかったため、ウロウロ歩き回る羽目に。やっとの思いでチャイニーズ・レストランを発見したのでありました。それにしても、喫煙者が脇に追いやられているという状況は受け入れなければならないようですな・・・。
