i spotted these cool 60's to 70's ceiling lamps on the way back from ginza yatai bar in ginza last night. those lamps were in the hotel (don't know the name though) lobby and stairway to downstairs. ceiling and wall also represent that era. even though design was inspired by western culsture in that era or those lamps might be imported from overseas, overall image looks very much japanese, probably it's because of the ceiling design and bamboo-like wall design. nice!!
昨晩、銀座のginza yatai barからの帰り道で見つけた60～70年代の天井吊り下げランプ。これらのランプはホテル（名前は知りません）のロビーとその奥にある地下への階段のところにありました。天井や壁もこの時代を表しています。デザインは当時の西洋文化から影響された、ないしはランプそのものが海外から輸入されたものかもしれませんが、全体的なイメージとしてはかなり日本的な感じですね。それは多分、天井や竹をイメージするような壁のデザインのせいかもしれません。ナイス!!

by the way, it takes a lot of walk to go around in tokyo..... i'm not used to long-distance walking at all. but it's a good environment for me as i don't do any sports. well, i miss my car though.....
ところで、東京ってむちゃくちゃ歩きますね・・・。長い距離を歩くのには慣れていないもんで。でも、運動を一切やらない自分にとっては良い環境でしょう。でも、車が恋しいです・・・。
