we have been looking for an apartment, and in my case, i have also been looking for a job, both in tokyo. i realized how expensive to rent an apartment in tokyo. all i see is tiny rooms with ridiculously expensive rent. but we have to admit that it is a fact in tokyo. hope we can find them!!
ここのところ、アパート探しと自分の場合は仕事探しも同時にやってます。両方ともが東京での話。それにしても、東京のアパートがいかに高いかということを実感しましたよ。見る部屋はどれもちぃ～っちゃくて、それでもってむちゃくちゃ高い。でも、これが東京だということを受け入れなければ成りませんね。いずれにしても、ともに見つかることを祈る!!

we went to eat at a small restaurant my wife wanted to go. i ordered savory pancake ("okonomi-yaki" in japanese), and my wife ordered fried chinese noodles: both of them were humongous!! it's like medium size pizza. the reastaurant is run by an old lady, and she kept talking us like we were regulars at the restaurant, she must have confused with someone else. she even told us to park right in front of the restaurant when we told her we parked at coin parking.
anyway, food was good!! we even got two mandarin oranges for free. thank you very much!!
奥さんが前から行きたがっていたところへ。自分はお好み焼きをオーダーし、奥さんは焼きそばをオーダーしたんですが、これがまたデカイのなんのって!! ミディアム・サイズのピザと同じくらい。お店はおばあちゃんがやってるんですが、彼女はうちらを常連客と勘違いしてあれこれ話しかけてきました。コイン駐車場に車を停めているといったら、店の前に停めなさい、と。
美味しかったです。それで、帰り際にはみかんを2つ頂きました。有難うございました!!
