one day, when i got back home, this bottle of shochu (distilled spirit) was on the table. so, i drank it.
ある日、家に帰ってきたところ、テーブルに焼酎のボトルが置いてありました。なので、飲みました。
i never liked shochu (distilled spirit) years ago but now, i like it, especially those made with rice. i also like the ones made with oats. there are various ways to drink shochu such as drink straight, on the rocks, with hot or cold water, etc. i like to have one on the rocks.
昔は焼酎なんて好きになれませんでしたが、今では特に米の焼酎などを飲むようになりました。麦も好きです。生やロック、水割り、お湯割りなどなど飲み方は色々あります。自分はロックが好きです。
regarding the picture above, it says "nashika" on the label of the bottle but i don't know what "nashika" means..... although japan is such a small country but there are so many dialects and accents in almost all the parts in japan. if i speak with my own language (dialect), no one in my company would understand, not even one word..... that means, in some regards, i can speak two different languages :)
上の写真ですが、ボトルのラベルに「なしか」と書いてあります。ですが、「なしか」の意味が分かりません。日本はちっちゃな国ですが、日本の殆どの地域に多種多様な方言やなまりが存在します。もしも、自分自身の言葉（方言）でしゃべったら、会社の人は一言も理解できないでしょう・・・。つまり、ある意味、二つの違う言葉が話せるということになります。
