well, people say this is the one for the floor. i think this is that kind of 12", and aftc's mix is the one for the floor. "melody" is like mid-90s house. i could understand as the mix is done by grant nelson.
"risk some soul" is deep vocal house with synth, guitar and vocals on top of 4/4 beats. i think this can be used in any atmosphere such as clubs, cafes, etc. don atom's remix is the reconstruct version with electro kind of break beats. it's like cute track.
overall, the sound balance for each frequency is really good.
え～っと、フロア向けというんでしょうかね。そんな感じの12”です。aftcのミックスはまさにそれ! そして「メロディ」は90年代半ばくらいのハウスを彷彿させるようなヴォーカル・ハウス。リミックスがグラント・ネルソンということなんで納得。
「リスク・サム・ソウル」は4つ打ちにシンセ、ギターやヴォーカルが絡むディープ・ヴォーカル・ハウスな曲。この曲は、クラブやカフェなど、いろんな場でかけられる曲ではないでしょうか。最後のドン・アトムのリミックスはエレクトロっぽいブレイク・ビーツで再構築した感じ。かわいい感じのする曲です。
全般的に音のバランスが良いです。

"keep on" is the 4/4-beat track featuring tabla. it's like exotic spacelike sound. it could be felt so good if i hear it outside. the mix version is without synth and more like underground.
"the dancer" is another feel-so-good track, with piano and spacelike synth are featured. and female poetry reading like narrative is used in the track. personally, the point makes me feel a bit disappointed is that the poety reading is done in english and it's gotta bit of japanese accent.....
「キープ・オン」はタブラをフィーチャーした4つ打ちトラック。エキゾチックなスペイシー・サウンドとでも申しましょうか。野外で聴いたら気持ち良さげな曲です。ミックス・ヴァージョンはシンセの音をはずして、よりアンダー・グラウンドな感じに仕上がってます。
「ザ・ダンサー」、これもまた気持ちの良いトラックです。こちらはピアノがフィーチャーされており、そこにまたもやスペイシーなシンセが絡む。そして、女性の語りが入ります。個人的に、ちょっと残念に思うのは、この語りが英語なんですが、若干日本的な発音なんですよね・・・。

this is dark and heavy track. tempo is higher than the original hip hop beats. personally, these remixes are rather be categorized as break-beat stuff. these tracks make people dance sedulously rather than get everyone so excited.
ダークでヘヴィーな感じ。ヒップホップのビートよりはテンポを上げてます。どちらかと言えば、個人的にはブレイク・ビーツ寄りなトラック。ガツンと盛り上がると言うよりは、黙々と踊るといった感じでしょうか。

you know what it is, this is de la soul. i don't listen to hip hop stuff much but they are one of those few favorite groups. i think it is because their style is not so aggressive. let's party party!!
言わずもがな、のデ・ラ・ソウルです。ヒップホップはあまり聴かないのですが、彼らは数少ない好きなグループのひとつです。恐らくは攻撃的な感じがないからでしょうか。パーティパーティ～!!
