The latest research shows that eating a Mediterranean diet, which is high in olive oil and nuts, is linked to improved cognitive ability in older adults. The diet has also been shown to increase longevity, help to stabilize blood sugar levels, decrease "bad" cholesterol and triglycerides levels, lower blood pressure, and reduce the risk of several diseases.
