Convenience 1.
Duplex is only 2 minutes walk from Ikebukuro JR station, Metropolitan Exit. It is right in front of Hotel Metropolitan, only one minute walk away from the hotel.
Hotel Metropolitan is the landmark. If you get lost in the station, just ask people around you where the hotel is. You don’t need umbrella even in a heavy rain.

成田、羽田の両空港から空港バスが1時間置きに出でいます。ホテルメトロポリタンで下車してください。動き回る必要がないのでお荷物が多い方には最適です。

Airport limo departs every one hour from both Narita and Haneda airports. You get off at Hotel Metropolitan. As you don’ need to move around too much, the limos are our recommendation for those who carry a lot of baggage.

ＪＲ山の手線、ＪＲ湘南新宿ライン、ＪＲ埼京線、東武東上線、西部池袋線、地下鉄（丸の内線、副都心線、有楽町線のなんと8路線が利用できます。
• 東京の主要スポットはすべて30分以内でカバーできます。
たとえば新宿、渋谷（池袋をふくめて3大コマーシャルセンター）へはそれぞれ８分、15分。日本のビジネスの中心地である丸の内の玄関で新幹線ターミナルある東京へは20分
• 北の京都と呼ばれている鎌倉へは1時間
• 東京ディズニーランド＆シーへは50分
• 江戸時代の雰囲気を残す川越へは30分。外人の間での知名度は高くありませんがお勧めです。

Eight different lines are available and give you excellent access for your shopping, business and sight seeing.
• You can reach any major part of Tokyo within half an hour. For example, it takes 8 minutes to Shinjuku and 15 minutes to Shibuya. Shibuya, Shinjuku and Ikebukuro are know to be “three biggest commercial centers” in Tokyo. It takes 20 minutes to Tokyo station. Tokyo is a Shinkansen (New Bullet Train) terminal station and the station for Ootemachi, the biggest business center in Japan.
• It takes about one hour to go to Kamakura. It is the biggest historical spot in northern part of Japan, often being compared to Kyoto because of many historical shrines and temples it has.
• Takes about 50 minutes to Tokyo Disneyland & Sea.
• Why don’t you go to Kawagoe? It is only half an hour by train. So half day should be more than enough. It is not yet well known among visitors from overseas. But if you’d like to know how big cities looked like more than 100 years ago in Japan, it’s worth visiting.
