High School Startup Summit (HSSS) is an event where junior high and high school students gather and present a new choice for your life, which is to start your own business.

In this 1st HSSS, the theme is “Start up- another way for your successful life”, and we will think about what is it like to start up your own business through conferences, booth exhibition, and presentations focused on junior high and high school students.

What is HSSS? What is its objective?
“As an entrepreneur representing Japan, we are looking forward to present talented junior high and high school students a new choice for your life which is to start up your own business”

 To experience the process of embodying idea
 This is to experience the excitements and difficulties through embodying idea into business plan.
 Opportunities for challenges
 Environment to challenge is arranged if fixed successful results are obtained.
 Life as an entrepreneur
 To think about life as being an entrepreneur.

13:00~15:00: Conferences about Junior High and High school start up
13:00~16:00: Business Idea Booth Exhibition
16:00~19:00: Shout! (Presentation)

Place: Tokyo

Qualification for Application
[A]: Presentation and Exhibiting Booth
This is only for Junior High and High school students.
Charge: free (transportation and accommodation fees are not included)
Capacity Limit: none, 5persons per 1 team (participation from 1 person is welcome)

[B] Conference, booths, presentation spectator
Charge: 3000 yen/person (transportation and accommodation fees are not included)
Payment will be made on the 26th August

 ↓about 2 months:★We will support you making your presentation paper(see below).
・Deadline for submitting the presentation paper. Sunday, 7/31. Until 24:00
*The schedule might change. In that case, we will send you a message, so don’t worry.

●Presentation paper
In order to make business plan, refer to the points below. Use MS PowerPoint or Keynote or any other things related to that. Your paper should be no less than 5pages and no more than 10 pages.
★Until your presentation paper is finished, we will support you.

・Any idea will be fine. Please think about some ideas that you think is interesting and email those ideas to us.
・The processes to make ideas which are written below are just an example. Just have a look. Maybe these processes might help you make new business ideas. The most important steps are and and .


① List some problems about society or community. What do people want?
②How do you solve those problems you have listed at ①?
③Analyze from political, economic, social, technological point of view.
④Think about these things: can your idea succeed in new market? Are there many rivals? Are suppliers powerful? Or are you more powerful than suppliers? Are the power of customers strong? What kind of product will replace your product or services?
⑤What’s your company’s Strength? What’s your company’s weak point?
⑥ How will your company compete with other companies which make almost same products as yours?
⑦ Decide your company’s aim, goal, and target.
⑧ Decide what product you will make, how do you sell it, the price of product, how do you manage your company.
⑨ Make a schedule.
⑩ Decide your balance.

・Are there differences with the product of other companies in the same market?
・Does your plan or product superior to other company’s product?

・Does your business have a power to change present market or make a new market?

【B】Those who wants to see this project as a spectator
・At the subject of your E-mail, Please write “I will participate this plan as a spectator”
・At your e-mail, write the number of people who will come, you and your company’s name, telephone number and e-mail address.
Then send us an e-mail.

Our goal for The first “High school Start-up summit ” is to gather more than 50 junior high and high school students who will announce their plans and 150 spectator for this project.
