Phew, I managed to avoid being a monk for three days.
Today, my colleague showed me someone's resume and asked me if I knew that person. The reason why he asked is that person is currently working for my ex-company. So, of course, I know him. I worked with him closely on one project. He seems to fit the profile of the person the company is looking for.
It could be a certain breach of rules to pull personnel from a previous company, but in his case, it doesn't apply since he applied for the job himself.
So, I consulted with the management team and decided to contact him directly tomorrow.
I am looking forward to making a phone call to him.
By the way, I am not sure if this diary helps me improve my English skill.
Anyway, all I can do now is believe in a proverb, "Continuation is Power."
