Continued from yesterday, I called him this morning, but he didn't answer the call. So, I decided to text him.

At lunchtime, I run into my colleague when I was planning to buy a mentaiko spaghetti to go. He is an alumnus of the same university.

In general, it is not uncommon to have alumni from the same university. But in my case, it is an infrequent rare case because I graduated from a university with few Japanese students. He is not my age, so we didn't know each other in college, though.

He told me about the detail of the current project as he has been working longer than I have, and we exchanged opinions about the company's future direction. It was an excellent opportunity to sit and talk to him for the first time.

After lunch, I found a reply from the job candidate, and we made an appointment for a lunch meeting next Wednesday.

Thank you for reading.
