私のイギリス人の友人は今話題の映画『ホビット』をみたくないと言っていました。理由は、小さい頃に原作を読んだ時から物語に出てくるキャラクターのイメージを強く持ち続けていて、それがもし映画をみることで壊れたらいやだからとのことでした。同じ理由で『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』もみていないそうです。私しにはそれほど子供の頃に夢中になった物語や本が見当たらないのですが皆さんにはこの『ホビット』や『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』のような子供の頃に夢中になったお国の物語や本はありますか？
One of my English friends told me that she would not like to watch the latest popular movie, “The Hobbit”. The reason is; - she already has strong images of all the characters in the story since she had read the book and she would not like to ruin those, if the movie shows them differently. She did not watch the “Load Of The Rings” either for the same reason. I could not find any equivalent stories or books, which I got involved in in my childhood as she did. Do you all have your stories or books like my friend’s “The Hobbit” and “Load Of The Rings” in your countries?
