Two friends visited with gifts of plants today. I was so excited. My hairdresser, Annette loves to garden and she brought me some morning,noon and night plants from her garden that change from purple to white when they flower. I have planted them behind the hydrangea.
Mika popped over too and brought more bromeliad's to plant in a small garden that lines the driveway. We started that garden about two months ago. I also planted other succulent type plants that she brought over, a pot plant that desperately needed planting and transplanted a birds nest into that garden. It is looking quite full now and nearly finished.
I have enjoyed being in the garden today. It rained over night and the ground was nice and soft for digging. It made me very hungry and thirsty, so I sat on the lower deck to eat the sandwich that my son made for me. The little blue wren came to entertain me again. He is so cute. He plays with his refection in the rear vision mirror of the car. He is almost the same colour as my hydrangeas. He makes my heart glad.
