I had fun getting dressed up to visit my friend for a cup of tea. It was a beautiful sunny day. The sky was a beautiful blue with just a few clouds. I chose a maxi dress from my wardrobe with a white back ground and lots of big blue flowers. It is a summer dress with moderately thin straps, that go over my shoulders. The shades of blue in the flowers vary, like the blues in my new hydrangea. The little blue wren would blend in nicely too.
To accessorise I wore a gold bangle, gold flower earrings with a blue stone and a delicate gold neck chain, which my eldest sister bought me for my birthday, a few years ago.
Because I was walking, I chose comfortable tan leather sandals and a matching belt. To carry my purse and mobile phone I chose a small blue bag. I felt pretty and feminine! Especially once I had styled my hair, put my makeup on and sprayed myself with CoCo Channel. Such a lovely fragrance.
I have decided I like the colour blue; the colour of the sky and ocean. I looked at the sky as I walked in the sunshine, a slight breeze blowing against my skin. My dress twisting and turning, being tussled by the air creating a sense of fun and freedom.
When I arrived at Carols house, she said I looked beautiful. Her generous compliment made me feel very nice. It is nice feeling good both inside and out. I am staying dressed like this for Ukulele tonight.
