Last Thursday the 19th of March 2015, I picked up my new Mitsubishi Mirage. My brothers have been concerned for me driving an older car and were very keen for me to buy a new one. One of my brothers gave me a large sum of money and combined with my own savings and other money bequeathed to me, I was able to purchase a brand new car.
Three weeks ago, on the 7th of March, I began my car hunting. I am so grateful that Mika came with me. It made it fun. At the first car yard, we came across a brand new, blue Mitsubishi Mirage sedan. We took it for a test drive and the salesman pointed out all its features. It drove very smoothly, with easy steering and a very tempting price. I was pretty excited and rang my brother Lindsay, to see if he was interested in buying one for his wife Kathy. Kathy needs a new car too and there were few of these cars in stock, but as it turns out she is more interested in the Mitsubishi Lancer. After only just beginning my search, I was not about to be sold a car that day, plus I wasn't convinced that the Mirage 2.2 litre engine was going to satisfy me. After hearing about the Lancer, I wanted to test drive one and see how the 2.6 litre engine performed in comparison.
