The green pot now has a topiary tree planted in it. It looks fantastic. The tree is underplanted with white petunias. Mika and I thought we had calculated the right amount of potting mix after chatting to the people at the nursery, but no, I had to go back to the nursery to buy more, so the task could be completed. I couldn't wait another day to plant the tree. I had to see what it would look like. I had been excited all day, looking forward to seeing the result. I had been clapping my hands together as Mika drove the car to and from the nursery, saying with anticipation "soon the tree will be planted." In the end the pot took 300 litres of potting mix. Its a big pot! Not only that, I only had enough pebbles to cover half the septic tank. Another trip to the nursery another day. In the mean time it still gives me great pleasure and visiting the nursery is always enjoyable.
Flowers have graced my home for many months, giving me confidence to trust in my Heavenly Father. I am very thankful to God for imagination and the energy and motivation to fulfil the vision that has been given for my garden and now I have lots of flowers growing in my garden. Mika has been very generous in sharing her imagination and energy with me and together we have shared in creating a garden that is bringing happiness to us and to my neighbourhood; I have had lots of compliments already about my garden. I continue to thank God for his faithfulness. Flowers are a symbol of Gods faithfulness to me. God is very good. I give him thanks and all the praise.
