I had a memorable walk with Milly to the beach today. Before I left, I wondered whether to wear my swimmers or not and when I saw the ocean I wished that I had! The air was so warm and the ocean was calm. I walked to the north end and discovered a lovely rock pool, that was deep and clear. I couldn't help myself. It was so inviting, I took off my shoes and slid in, clothes and all. It was like a nice cool bath. Milly whimpered at the edge wanting to come in but she was too scared. In the end, I grabbed her and brought her in with me for a few minutes. She started swimming, even though she wasn't in the water yet!! I couldn't entice her in again. She jus stayed, whimpering, running from one edge and then around some rocks to get to another edge. I played in the water for about half an hour, lowering myself all the way under the water. I like getting my head wet. It was beautiful.
