Friendship comes in different packages. To sit, appreciate and value a person, no matter what age, colour or creed. To watch the delight that one has in describing in detail their new home and surroundings...pointing out the gardens and the different variety of colour and species of plants..."isn't it beautiful". The excitement of a little girl seen inside wrinkled skin.....and so....
.....we enjoy coffee and food together with lots of chatter. The happiness that springs forth as she talks about something important to her. She is close to 40 years older than me and her beauty remains. She talks about her love of Jesus... her eyes well with tears as she talks about the great sacrifice that God made in sending his Son to die on the cross for our sin.
Our souls connect...I know pain..this year has been the most painful in all my life. My pain is just a drop in the bucket in comparison to the pain God suffered in sending his Son to die on a cross. Thank you Jesus that you loved me this much. No one else has ever, loved me this much.
