kagami-biraki

"Kagami-biraki(鏡開き)" is a ceremony performed at celebratory events in which the lid of the rice wine"sake" barrel is cracked open by a wooden mallet n the sake is served to everyone. Kagami means "a mirror" in english n In this case, Kagami refers to the shiny surface of the sake n biraki means “to open” so kagami-biraki literally means “opening the mirror” .
FYI in the case of wedding ceremonies, Kagami-biraki is usually performed by a wedding chairman calling out the traditional shout “Se-no,Yoisyo!(せーの、よいしょ!)” but occasionally, it is performed by the people called "kakegoe-syu (掛け声衆)" in place of a chairman. "kakegoe-syu" is generally composed by friends of bride n groom.
BTW Mrs. Atsuko Suzuki who is one of the members of chairman's team "LIC" always suggests to bride n groom that to provide for "kakegoe-syu". I guess..she LOVES "kakegoe-shu".. lmfao!

well...IDK why do i need to explain bout "kagami-biraki" Lol
watever..
hella sleepy...im gonna sleep!
