Although this is my first hanami (flower viewing) in Japan, since we have sakura at UW, I've done hanami there every year until now.

See, sakura at UW, nbd haha
But I had no idea how beautiful Nakameguro would be...I have a ton of pics, but I selected my favorites.

Eating and drinking under the sakura was bliss.... (Wine and okonomiyaki makes everything better)
After killing a couple hours I decided that I really wanted to see the yozakura (cherry blossoms at night), so I wandered around neighboring Daikanyama and found a nice cafe and some yummy cake, where I waited for the sun to set....

At 7pm I headed back, and low and behold!
The yozakura were so pretty I ended up spending another couple hours there. At the end I walked about 20 minutes straight ahead, but there was still no end in sight...since my battery had reached 4%, it was time to go home.

Tomorrow I have to meet with an advisor for 15 minutes about registration (a waste of time?) and have 0 plans...where in Tokyo to go next??
