I participated in an Apnea Academy (AA) Second Level course.
?
Free diving is different from scuba diving.
Free diving is diving without the aid of a breathing device.
?
AA Second Level course aims to improve the relaxation and breathing techniques by taking advantage of the experience acquired in the first level course in order to reach the following performances: 2 minutes and 30 seconds in static, 55m dynamic and 15m depth.
?
It was on July 29.
First I was taught by the department, then I went to the pool.
I did some stretching and breathing techniques at the poolside.
In the pool, first I did “static apnea”.
My record was 3 minutes and 50 seconds.
I did it clearly. ★
Next I did “dynamic apnea with fins”.
My record was 57m.
I did it clearly. ★
And I did “dynamic apnea without fins”.
My record was 37m.
I did it clearly. ★
Everything was cleared out! ★★★
So I will join the marine training next time.
?
I’d like to give meanings and explanations about the words written above.
?
Static Apnea (STA): The free diver is floating on the surface of the water, with the face in the water, holding his breath.
?
Dynamic Apnea: Dynamic can be split into two disciplines, Dynamic with fins (DWF) and Dynamic without fins (DNF), Dynamic is swimming distances underwater.
?
Free Immersion (FI): On his own strength the free diver pulls himself down a rope. At the turning point or bottom the free diver turns and pulls himself back up.
?
Constant Weight (CW): Constant Weight can be split into two disciplines, Constant Weight the free diver swims down a line on his own strength. At the turning point/bottom the free diver turns and swims up the line. The line may not the touched.
