The Sumida River flows through the center of Tokyo. The Tokyo Hotaru Festival was created with the desire of bringing fireflies to Tokyo and allowing residents to coexist with nature.

About 100,000 LED lights that store solar electricity – called “Inoriboshi®” (“Prayer Stars”), are being released into the Sumida River to make Tokyo into a beautiful city.
“Prayer Stars” started being released!
They are carried downstream, and the river is getting illuminated.
