これが私の初めてのブログ投稿です。なぜかはわかりませんが、少し緊張しています。私は恥ずかしがり屋ではなく、実際、その逆です。私は母国語の英語でブログを書き、その後ChatGPTを使ってそれを日本語に翻訳します。なぜなら、私は書くよりも話す方が日本語が得意だからです。でも、私は通常の日本語のクラスに参加してスキルを向上させようとしています。おそらく、あなたは私のブログを自然でネイティブな英語の表現に慣れる手段として利用できるでしょう。この投稿では私のすべてを話すつもりはありません。なぜなら、そうすると後でブログのネタがなくなってしまうからです。笑
とにかく、始めますね...
私は50代のアメリカ市民で、東京の外で暮らしています。航空交通管制で働いています。私は2020年の夏から日本に住んでいて、ここでの生活が大好きです。文化、食べ物、人々（ほとんどの時）、そしてレストランに行くたびに25％のチップを払わなくて良いことが気に入っています。笑
また、私は日本を外国人に紹介するチャンネルを持つYouTubeクリエイターでもあります。最初はゆっくりと始まりましたが、過去の1年間で本当に成長し、毎月素敵な余裕のある収入を得ています。それを使って日本中を旅行するのが楽しみです。
私には素晴らしい日本人の妻がいます。彼女は私にとって祝福です！彼女のような人には初めて会いました。私たちが出会った話は実際にはかなりロマンチックです...この投稿でその話を共有する予定でしたが、やめて次回の楽しみにすることにしました。...そして、あなたが私をフォローして戻ってきて、そのエキサイティングな話を聞くことを考えてください。

This is my first time to blog here. I don't know why, but I'm a little nervous. I'm not a shy person; in fact, I'm quite the opposite. I'll be writing my blogs in my native English and then translate them to Japanese using ChatGPT because I speak Japanese much better than I can write. But I'm trying to change that as I attend regular Japanese language classes. Maybe you can use my blogs as a way to become familiar with natural and native English writing. I won't tell you everything about me in this post because, if I do, I'll have nothing to blog about later. Haha.
Anyway, here goes...
I'm an American citizen, in my 50s, living in outside of Tokyo, working in Air Traffic Control. I've been in Japan since the summer of 2020 and I love living here. I love the culture, the food, the people (most of the time), and that I don't have to tip 25% every time I go to a restaruant. Haha.
I'm also a YouTube creator with a channel that focuses on sharing Japan with foreigners around the world. My channel started off slowly, but has really grown over the past year and it now earns me some nice extra money every month that we like to use for traveling around Japan.
I have a wonderful Japanese wife who is such a blessing to me! I've never met anyone like her. The story of how we met is actually quite romantic... I was just getting ready to share the story of how me met in this post, but I decided to stop and save it for another time; ...and so you'll consider following me and come back to hear the whole juicy story.
My greatest passion is my love for Jesus Christ. As a Christian I enjoy studying the deep spiritual meaning of the Bible and talking about the awesome relationship I have with our Creator and His Son. I'm never pushy about my faith, so don't worry. I'm not going force my beliefs on you, but am also not shy about my faith either. I guess that's the American blood and personality in me. So feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer them.
I have a VERY busy life, balancing work, play, travel, creating YouTube videos, and my Christian faith, but I hope to post here every week or so. This weekend, I'm off to Sapporo to enjoy the ice and snow festival.
