1958年、東京都生まれ。小学校5年から高校まで大阪で過ごす。
Born Tokyo 1958. 5th grade elementary school to the senior high in Osaka.
上智大学在学中に、オーストリア・ザルツブルク大学に留学。
While in Sophia University, he went to Austria Salzburg University to study.
卒業後、講談社に入社し『Hot-Dog PRESS』に配属。
After graduation, he entered Kodansha and was assigned to “Hot-Dog PRESS”.
勤務のかたわら、91年に『タモリ倶楽部』（テレビ朝日系）でお尻学者としてデビュー。
While at Kodansha, he debuted in the program “Tamori club” (TV Asahi)
as a buttocks analyst in ’91.
ファッションから西洋美術、時計にドクロ、化石鉱物など幅広い分野に精通し、
評論・執筆活動を続ける。
He has good knowledge over a wide area; from fashion to western art, clocks,
skeletons etc. and continues to review and write.
