お彼岸 Fall Equinox

秋風が心地よい秋分の日に、お墓参りに行ってきました。

お寺は団子坂上にあるので、日暮里駅から歩いてみました。

谷中銀座を通り、夜店通りを左に曲がって団子坂に出るコースです。

お彼岸の時期の土日は、お墓参りラッシュです。

帰りは、このあたりをぶらついてみました。

おなかが空いたので歩きながらメンチカツを食べて、やなかコーヒー店の薫り高いコーヒーを飲み、

お土産に福丸饅頭まで買って、ゼ～～ンブまとめて４００円でしたぁ～～☆

『谷中　福丸饅頭』 夜店通り

昨年１１月にオープンしたばかりの饅頭屋さんです。
売りは１個１０円のおまんじゅう！
１０個で１０５円、箱入りでも１３０円です。
多いときには１日２万個以上売れる下町の人気和菓子です。
この日も行列が出来ていましたが、当然並びました！
出来立てを手にしたときは、小さな幸せを感じました。
この店はお客さんにささやかな幸せも売っています。
商売はこうあるべきですねぇ～～☆
黒糖薫るしっとりとした皮に甘さを抑えた餡が美味しいこの饅頭。
なぜ１０円かというと「１０円というのは、ワンコインで物が買える
最終段階と考え、そこに挑戦したくてこの破格の１０円饅頭を作った」との事。

『肉のサトー』谷中銀座

一枚１２０円のビーフメンチカツが売りのお店です。
日祭日は、揚げるそばから売れていきます。

「今食べます」と言うと紙にくるんでもらえるので、ソースをかけて
その場で頂きました！

テレビの取材も多くて、めざましテレビの「なかの　みなこアナ」
や「劇団ひとり」さん等、たくさんのサインが飾ってありました。

何故か「アントニオ猪木のテーマ」が流れ続けています。

『やなかコーヒー店』夜店通り

コーヒー豆を好みでローストしてくれるお店です。

買って帰ると、家中がコーヒーの香りで包まれてしまうほど。

ローストを待っている間にコーヒーを飲みますが、なんと
一杯１５０円なり！

この味で１５０円は、申し訳ないぐらいです。。。

September 23 is Fall Equinox Day.

Fall Equinox falls in the middle of higan, a week-long Buddhist celebrated in Japan.
People visit graves and make offering at family altars around this time to show respect to 
ancestors and commemorate the deceased.

So, I visited my ancestors’ grave, holding a bouquet of mixed autumn flowers yesterday.
There are a lot of temples in Yanaka and the roads going there are always crowded around 
the equinox.

On my way home, I found a queue in front of a shop selling steamed bean-jam buns.
The shop is a new one named “Yanaka Fukumaru Manjyu”（谷中　福丸饅頭）which opened 
last November on Yomise Street（夜店通り）.

They sell a steamed bean-jam bun for only 10 Yen each.

It is a bite-size bun but we can buy them for only 105 Yen for ten, so I lined up and 
got them.

I felt a small happiness when I got hot buns and thought this kind of business sells 
customers a small happiness.
  
I believe that business should be like this.

There is an old saying “Summer heat or winter cold doesn't last after the equinox” and 
I enjoyed walking in crisp autumn wind on the equinox.
