私にぴったり合う靴は見つかるのでしょうか？
写真の靴は一応私のお気に入りなのですが。。。痛いんです！
女をやっていくためには多少痛くても、疲れても、寒くても、おなかがすいても。。。

さて先週ご紹介させていただいた「In her shoes」の続きです。
in a prson's shoesは、その人の立場に立ってという意味で
・ Can you put yourself in her shoes for a while?
ちょっとの間、彼女の身になってみることができますか？
という具合に使われます。人それぞれにストレスの解消法はあるでしょうが、マギー（Camelon Diaz)の姉ローズ（Toni Collette)
の場合は靴を集めること。
"Food just makes me fatter" 食べ物は、太るばかりで。。。切実です！

なぜ二週続けてこの映画について書くのかというと、ラストシーでマギーが
結婚する姉ローズのために読んだカミングスの詩を書き留めておきたかったからです。

I saw “In her shoes” on DVD last Sunday. (Please see my article last Sunday.)
“In her shoes” seems to be a metaphor her position.
Two sisters, Maggie (Cameron Diaz) and Rose (Toni Collette) have almost nothing
in common—Maggie leads a free and uninhibited life while Rose is a straight attorney.
The one thing they do have in common is the same shoe size.
Rose said;
“When I feel bad, I like to treat myself.
Clothes never look any good.
Food just makes me fatter.
Shoes always fit.”
Food just makes me fatter…..I think her words are evident of a woman’s feeligs.
Will there be shoes that really just fit for me?
Both Maggie and Rose found their own shoes at last.
Rose was finally able to meet somebody to love.
At Rose's wedding ceremony, Maggie read a poem.
Maggie has dyslexia and nobody could imagine that she could read a poem.
The poetry was E. E. Cummings that a blind, bedridden Professor of English Literature taught her at a retirement village.
He may have taught her “a heart of poetry “.
It was the poem "i carry your heart with me" that Maggie read aloud. The poem is famous and comes out like a torrent when I search it on the net.
I deeply felt the power of poetry.
