先週、英語のライティングは形式命！【Introduction編】という記事を書きました。
今日は、Main Paragraph編です。
前回のお題はこちらでした。
「最近、海外旅行に出向く人が増えてきているが、それは環境破壊に貢献することになるという意見がある。あなたはこの意見に賛成ですか？反対ですか？」
Main paragraphは、質問に答えることが大切です。
はい、もう一度いいます。
質問に答えることが大切です。
「先週と一緒やん・・・」と突っ込みをいれたくなった方。
そう、一緒です。笑。
Main Paragraphの書き方は、
①トピックセンテンス（この段落は何について書くか？１文でまとめる）
②トピックセンテンスの理由（１）
③②を裏付ける根拠・例・詳細な情報
④トピックセンテンスの理由（２）
⑤④を裏付ける根拠・例・詳細な情報
⑥トピックセンテンスの理由（３）
⑦⑥を裏付ける・・・
と、①を書き、あとは必要なだけ②③を繰り返していくわけです。
それでは模範解答です。
【Introductionの段落】
Recently, the number of travellers to overseas are increasing. At the same time, there is a growing concern that this trend may affect our environment. Although this concern is legitimate, I disagree with this opinion because there are other major factors that contribute to environmental problems.
（最近、海外への旅行者数が増えてきています。同時に、この傾向が環境に影響を与えると心配する声も増えてきています。この意見は妥当だが、私は反対だ。なぜなら、環境問題に関与する要因は他にもたくさん存在するからだ。）
【Main Paragraph I】
①トピックセンテンス
First, the use of fossil fuels in when it could be replaced with natural resources is a main cause of the environmental issues we face these days, not the increase in the number of international travellers.
（第一に、環境問題の最近の主な原因は、自然資源を使えるところで化石燃料を使ってしまうことにあり、海外の旅行者数の増加が原因ではありません。）
② ①の理由
Even though the automobile companies are developing hybrid cars and electric cars, the price is relatively high, and there are insufficient facilities where people could charge their cars.
（自動車メーカーはハイブリッドカーや電気カーを開発しているものの、料金は比較的高く、電池をチャージする施設もまだ十分ありません。）
③ ②の根拠・例・詳細な情報
For example, in many developing countries, diesel cars are still popular due to its price. Therefore, the local people use affordable diesel cars rather than expensive hybrid vehicles.
（例えば、多くの開発途上国では、その値段からディーゼル車がまだ人気です。そのため、地元に住む人たちは高価なハイブリッドカーではなく安価なディーゼル車を使うのです。）
各文章を作るとき、質問を読み返し、「ちゃんと質問に答えているかな？」と自分に常に問うてくださいね。
