Analyzing Confederation cup: Brazil vs. Italy
Yup the confederation is on, I think today was the final day of the 2nd round.
I watched Spain vs. South Africa yesterday, and Brazil vs Italy today.
The confederation cup is held one year before the world cup, which mean this is the final tune up for the world cup. I don't know why most channels doesn't show this. I'm watching it on CBC.
Well my favourite for the confederation cup is going to be Spain and Brazil, and my prediction for the world cup is going to be Spain. Cause right now the only team that doesn't gets me irritated is Spain.
Anywho the team that are going to the semi finals are Spain vs. USA, and Brazil vs. South Africa.
Now for my anaylzes for today's Brazil vs. Italy game.
Eventhough Brazil won 3-0 today there's something that is wrong with their team.
Today Maicon, Robino was really active but man do they waste chances like crazy.
Maicon crosses were almost like clearing for the italian defense, and Robino is just trying to deke people all the time, there is at least 2 chance that he could've shot the ball, but it just holds it till the defense gets back on position so he can try to deke them. tisk tisk....
Luis Fabiano was pretty good at beating italian offside traps but he is still pretty inexperience, there was a couple of chance that he could have get the ball, but he just whines alot, and his controls aren't really that good.
Another person that didn't do anything but sucked for the entire game was that number 18 guy..... I don't even know his name, I just know he didn't do squat.
But Caesar, Luciao, Kaka, and Santos was pretty good today! WORLD CLASS players.
And the reason why Italy was because their players aren't as good as they used to be.
Sometimes I see two players standing in the same spot wating for the ball, their controlling was really bad.
Pirlo, Camoranasi, Buffon, Cannavro, De Rossi and the No.4 guy was the only good players today.
Gillardino and Toni wasn't really as active probably because of Brazilian defense. So basically half of their team were useless most of the time on pitch. So that's why they sucked.
So comparing both teams today, only 4 guys for Brazil wasn't world class compared to Italy where they have 5 guys which had really bad controls and positioning.
