Dark tranquillityという北欧デスメタルバンドの曲の歌詞です。
和訳をしないのは親切ではないかもしれませんが、日本語に訳すと、ひどく抽象的だったり、意味が通りにくかったりするので、英文のままupしました。
私の散文も、意味不明な言葉の羅列と思っている方々がほとんどかもしれませんが（笑）
私の書く文章は、Dark tranquillityやIn flamesに代表されるこれらのバンドの影響が非常に強いと思います。
ふと、思ったのでルーツというかエレメンツをお披露目したかったのかな。
北ヨーロッパの寒く冷たい国で産まれた、この手の音楽を20年近く聞いています。
日本で表現するところの「侘び」「さび」に通じるところがあるような気がします。
歌詞の内容は、退廃的かつ絶望的な独特の世界が多く、哀しみや苦悩にあふれていたりして。
決してポジティブではないかもしれませんが、人が本来持っている「悲哀」というテーマは、人生のスパイスとして欠かせないものだと思います。
