抜歯
今日、親不知虫歯1本とその隣の虫歯1本、計2本抜歯しました。
予約した1時にMountain Viewの歯医者さんに行き、待つこと十数分、抜歯に関して
のオリエンテーションを受けてから作業開始。
表面麻酔をうけ局所麻酔、抜歯。2本抜歯するのに40分くらいで終わりました。
痛みに関しては局所麻酔の時の痛みがメインで、それほどではありませんでした。
勿論抜歯の作業自体がかなり力業なので、この感覚は相当ストレスですよね。
印象、日本と比較して、痛みに関しては気を遣ってくれる感じは受けます。今日は
純粋に抜歯だけだったので、技術的なことまではなんとも。
技術的には優れてると思いますが、夜9時の時点でまだ少量出血が続いている
ので、自分の中では満点！ではないです。
もう一つの問題、会計ですが、治療前に会計をしました。
治療前に会計するところが、アメリカのクリアカットなところで好感が持てます。
今日支払った料金は確定分57ドル20セント。
下に貼った明細書を見て頂ければおわかりのように、今日の抜歯2本に伴う料金、
627ドルを保険会社に請求して、カバーされない分を支払う感じになると思います。
予想的には後125ドルくらいは請求されるのかな、と思っています。
日本に比べればこれは当然、かなり高いですね。
いわゆるfilling（詰め物）系は素材が変わるにつれ、どんどん高くなるようです。
まだちょっと痛みますが、とりあえず無事に終わって良かったです。
明日は運転免許の実技試験です！
