VOL.5に引続き、GTO様からのNEWSをお届け致します。

ＨＫＡＡマレーシアラウンド！！ラストは文句なしっ！総合優勝でマカオへの切符をゲットっ！！
ＨＫＡＡ（香港汽車會）ロードスポーツチャレンジレースとしては２０１４年シリーズの最終戦となった６月２１日・２２日のマレーシアラウンド。今回もレンタルマシン（ＬＯＴＵＳ　ＥＸＩＧＥ　Ｓ）での参戦となったＢｒｉａｎ選手。今回、チームＬＯＴＵＳからはさらにパワー・パフォーマンスともにワンランク上である２台のＬＯＴＵＳ　ＥＶＯＲＡ　ＧＴＣが参戦となり、同クラスのＢｒｉａｎ選手にとっては厳しい戦いが予想された。　予選は２′２９″１４７でトップのＥＶＯＲＡに２秒差を付けられクラス２位、もう一台のＥＶＯＲＡには５秒差を付け、実力を魅せつけた。２１日に行われたＲｄ．７のレースは、安定した走りでトップ２台が走り、順位も入れ替わることなくそのままゴール。総合２位、クラス２位でのフィニッシュとなった。　翌日のＲｄ．８。Ｒｄ．７でトップだったＥＶＯＲＡがマシンテストの為車両変更し、Ｂｒｉａｎ選手がポールポジションからのスタートとなる。レースは３Ｌａｐ目、維持を魅せたもう一台のＥＶＯＲＡが、Ｂｒｉａｎ選手をかわし２位へ後退。しかし、ＥＶＯＲＡはジャンプスタート（フライング）の判定でドライブスルーペナルティーを課せられてしまう・・・その間にトップに返り咲いたＢｒｉａｎ選手は猛烈な気温の中、トラブルなくトップを維持したまま総合優勝でゴールっ！！もちろん、クラス優勝もゲットし、今回のマレーシアラウンドでも４つのトロフィーをゲットした。実力はもちろん、「運」も味方にしたＢｒｉａｎ選手であった。　その結果、ＨＫＡＡ（香港汽車會）ロードスポーツチャレンジの年間ポイントは以下表の通りとなり、昨年に引き続き、好成績でマカオグランプリ行きの切符を手にしたＧＴＯレーシングチーム。マカオグランプリ用の車両製作はこれからとなるが、３年目のチャレンジの今年は、さらに良い成績を残せるよう努力していく・・・
最後は文句なしの総合トップでゴール！！マカオへの切符を手にした。

HKAA Malaysia Round!!Uncontested!Overall Victory! Macao here we come!


　Final HKAA (Hong Kong Automobile Association) Road Sport Challenge Race took place on June 21st – 22nd in Malaysia. Brian takes part in the final race with rental Lotus Exige S. This weekend Team Lotus in the same class debuts their new machines the LOTUS EVORA GTC. The Evora GTC race car is the latest racer in the Lotus line of race cars, more power and performance than the Exige S. It would be tough to challenge the Team Lotus this weekend. In qualifying Brian produces an amazing drive to split the two Evora for P2, he sets lap time of 2ʼ 29 “ 147, he was 2 secs behind P1 but is ahead of P3 by 5 secs. On race day, there will be no change from the start to finish. Brian steadily finishes the race in 2nd place. Proving he can match the faster Evoraʼs pace with his driving. Round 8 and final race of the season, Brian starts on Pole after Team Lotus had to change machines for tests. On the 3rd lap, the other Evora would pass Brian and takes the lead. Fortunately for Brian, the Evora was given a drive through penalty for jump starting. Brian would seize the moment and retake the lead and taking the top spot for Round 8.  With the results from Malaysia, HKAA Road Sport Challengeʼs Points are as follow below. With the excellent results GTO Racing Team successfully qualifies for 2014 Macau Grand Prix. In the upcoming months, GTO Racing Team will put all our efforts in getting our Macau entry prepared. This will be our 3rd year at Macau we will work even harder to obtain the best results possible.
