In an English class of my university,I had a chance to think about energy problems.So,not to forget what I thought,I'm going to write them.
I don't agree with using nuclear power plants as a means of making energy.If a nuclear power plants breaks down,radiation will be sprayed around it.Radiation is invisible to the eye but in large amounts is dabgerous to life.In the worst case,they die.And we won't be able to go to the area near the plant.In reality,some people in Fukushima still don't come back their hometown because of radiation.I think it is hard to live in temporary houses for a long time.We should abolish nuclear power plants in order to prevent them from influencing our daily lives.
Some people may say that nuclear power plants makes much energy,so we cannot live without them.But my opinion is that we don't need so much energy to live.Today,we use too much energy.For example,some of us stay up all night to play computer games.Of course,they light electric bulbs.I thinkit is a waste of time and energy.Especially,it is winter now,so they also use something to warm their rooms.Much energy is needed to rise the tempature in the rooms.And cities are bright even in night.In some cases,they light just because it is more beautiful to do that than don't do that.These example say that we use too much energy in daily lives.I think the priority is to recuce the consumption of energy.
In short,we have to review our way of living and make efforts to reduce the consumption of energy.One person may be able to reduce it only a little,but if many people do that,the result will be good.
