10月5日（日）、公益財団法人日本武道館ならびに日本古武道協会の主催による「第16回鹿島神宮奉納日本古武道交流演武大会」が、鹿島神宮本宮前特設演武場にて開催されました。

大阪万博の翌週、さらにこの3日後にはオランダ🇳🇱セミナーを控えておられるという、本部長先生・副本部長先生のご多忙さには、ただただ頭が下がります。国内外で多くの方々が両先生のご指導を心待ちにしていることに、あらためて驚かされます。

鹿島神宮の御祭神である武甕槌大神は、武道の神様として知られています。その御前で演武させていただけることは、武道家としてこの上ない誇りであると感じます。

また、今回は琢磨会の皆様との交流を、これまで以上に深めることができたと感じております。

双方の先生方、先輩方の仲睦まじいご様子を拝見し、とても温かい気持ちになりました。

同じ流派でありながら、それぞれの技に学ぶべき点が多くあることを改めて実感いたしました。

いつの日か合同稽古を行い、互いに学び合いながら、大東流合気柔術のさらなる発展につながるのだと思います。

本部長先生、副本部長先生、河野支部長、滝口幹部。このたびも、心に響く素晴らしいご演武を誠にありがとうございました。

On Sunday, October 5, the 16th Kashima Jingu Dedication Japanese Classical Martial Arts Exchange Demonstration, hosted by the Nippon Budokan Foundation and the Japan Kobudo Association, was held at the special demonstration stage in front of the main shrine of Kashima Jingu.

Coming right after the Osaka Expo, and with the Netherlands Seminar scheduled only three days later, we are deeply humbled by how busy Honbucho Sensei and Fukuhonbucho Sensei are. It never ceases to amaze us how many people, both in Japan and abroad, eagerly await their instruction.

Kashima Jingu enshrines Takemikazuchi-no-Okami, the deity of martial arts. Being granted the honor to perform before this sacred deity fills us with the utmost pride as martial artists.

This time, we also felt that our exchange with the members of Takuma-kai deepened even further.

Witnessing the warm and friendly interactions between the teachers and senior members of both groups was truly heartwarming.

Although we belong to the same school, we once again realized that there is much to learn from each other’s techniques. We sincerely hope to hold a joint practice someday, to learn together, and to contribute to the continued development of Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu.

Honbucho Sensei, Fukuhonbucho Sensei, Branch Chief Kouno, and Senior Member Takiguchi — thank you very much for your deeply inspiring and wonderful demonstrations once again.
