How quickly time passes these days! When I was a kid I used to think time just dragged on and on forever now that I'm an adult I think time flies! Blink and you may miss a month or two. Our plans to go to PCC for New Years Eve were foiled by a leaky radiator in the van. I didn't think it was a particularly good idea to take a van that could possibly breakdown and hour from home when my cell phone has sketchy reception at best (I have T-mobile) on a holiday known for the large amounts of alcohol people consume. So the kids and I stayed home. It was quiet and calm, we ate chips and soda and played the wii.
I don't make resolutions but I am hoping for a lot of change this year. There are some areas of my life that are far too dark so those areas are going to get treated first. That means several visits to several different doctors for pretty much our entire family. There are areas that I am hoping for change that aren't dark, church for example. I am looking forward to the growth we are going to see once we "formally" launch into the community. Right now we are preparing, working, stretching and making ourselves ready for the spring when we will be really reaching out with many new things. I am praying for vocal lessons so that we can advance in the music ministry. Jay wants drum lessons and so I'm looking into that as well
It's not expensive 14.00/half hour. He's only 7 so it isn't like he's ready for the worship band yet anyway. I'm also getting very serious about my study of the Bible. Not reading, I read it but I want to really study it. I'm still going the rounds in my head which way I want to do it...maybe decision making should be on my to tackle this year list too. LOL
