Fingal Bay.

We currently live in a house about 200m away from the beach.

Sometimes when you're trying to fall asleep, the sound of waves has a totally opposite effect of relaxing.

On Sunday, we decided to stroll down along the beach line.

We walked about 1.5km then gradually it became hilly.

Girls took off and we followed to the top.

I was gazing into the distant water and saw some water spray actions happening…

A whale!

Never in my life I spotted a whale off from the shore, and gosh, that was exciting!!

Until…

The 12km luggage (Sara) decided to climb up my back on the way back…

I haven't been updating facebook for a long time…

Here's what's been happening last couple weeks / months.

In May, Vlad (my husband) received a job offer from Boeing in Newcastle, NSW, which he accepted. We moved into our house about 7 months ago, and moving again with 3 kids (who are not great with packing and tidying things up yet) was a big stress to us. Not only that, we had to put our house up for lease and crossing our fingers to attract someone to move into our sort-of-brand-new house … that was probably more stressful.

It's been about a month since we moved. Our girls have settled quite well. All of us are enjoying our new environment so far. We live about 200m from Fingal Bay beach, which is part of Port Stephens, NSW. It takes about 5 minutes to the beach and we even can hear the waves at night. (Which took a while for me to get used to, as I could not fall asleep!) Girls have been going into the water even it's supposed to be the middle of winter! They pretend that they are not planning to go into the water at first, but of course, they trick us by "accidentally" going in. Vlad decided to teach the girls how to fish, and acquired fishing rods for them and for himself, too. They haven't caught anything yet, by the way.

Moving from Melbourne, Victoria also meant that girls had to get settled into a new school. Poor Maya, this is the third primary school already. Thankfully, both Maya and Alia settled in quite well. The school caters just over 300 students (from Prep / kinder to Grade 6) and personally, I think it's a good size. They even managed to put a whole-school musical up, which was really enjoyable.

Alia was attending at gymnastic classes since 3 ½
y.o. I think it helped her to gain her confidence and really, to burn her energy. We weren't sure if there's any gymnastic classes in a small town but we found one! So, she's doing gymnastics again.

Sara, our third daughter, turned 2 on 30/04. Yes, Terrible Two. She is in the middle of the Terrible Two.
She is probably the hardest girl to deal with out of the three. It's almost like super-dooper-improved-Alia. I don't know how she learns all of the things she does sometimes. She knows everything. She definitely knows which button to push. Yeah, YOUR buttons. She pushes every single buttons until steam of fury bursts out of your head. When she's in an angelic mode, she's such a sweet heart. What the thing with her is that she definitely knows which side to use in what kind of situation.

Anyways, that's what's been up to.
