People in the military are best described as patriotic. We have our brothers in the Navy, the Air Force, and the Marines that are putting their lives at risk to save their country. Their courage to defend their own country and leave their love ones behind is definitely a big sacrifice for them that should be recognized. While we celebrate and acknowledge their bravery, our very own military men do have their own way of commemorating their commitment and pride in the military service, and this is by getting inked with either one or several military tattoo designs.
Common military tattoo designs are flag of their country, eagle, pin up girls or names of their love ones. These tattoos are chosen by our military men not only to show dedication to their profession, but also for other reasons such as; commemorating a friend lost in a battle, unforgettable battle that a person survived from, and even a person's religion or belief that keep our military men guided and protected in every battle they face.
Most common religious symbols are crosses, angels and Star of David. Sometimes they even add a background graphics and phrases that will speak of their faith. Other inked verses or reference scripture that will clearly show their belief.
Military tattoos come in different shapes, sizes and symbols. Take for example a US Navy tattoo that can be represented by an anchor and sometimes adorned with stars or an American flag. While for US Air Force, the American eagle is a common natural choice since the eagle represents flight and is also the symbol of the United States.
These tattoos are worn with pride, and the best area to get this kind of tattoo inked on the body is in the most visible area like the arms. Other military men choose their legs, especially in the calf area. While there are other military men who would like to have a bigger piece that would really clearly state their profession and their love for country; the back area is the best place to put their displays of pride and remembrance.
Military tattoos are positive and pleasant. It can be in black and white, but most military men choose colored tattoos to enhance the graphic of their choice, especially if they are getting a flag tattoo or an eagle tattoo.
The bravery and the nobility of our military men can be clearly seen in their devotion and sacrifices and they very well express this through military tattoo designs that they wear with pride.
