Two weeks ago I got 10 new chicks and a rooster. The chicks were very young, all of them younger than 8 weeks. The rooster kind of picked on them. I think he might have killed one :( I called the chicken breeder I purchased them from and I made a plan to return the rooster. He is very beautiful and a rare type of chicken from Germany. I didn't want to get rid of him, but I did want to solve the issue. So I called the breeder and asked if I could purchase some hens about the same age as the rooster. So 3 days ago I picked up the hens. They are so beautiful! I named them Lavender and Lilac, because both those flowers are purple and people get them confused. The hens looks very similar but I can tell the difference. What questions do you have about chickens?
