前置詞in とintoの違いは何でしょうか？以下の文で in と into の違いを考えましょう。
a. She is in her room now. （彼女は今自分の部屋にいる。）
b. She went into her room. （彼女は自分の部屋に入っていった。）
a.in は彼女の「位置」（～の中）を示すのに対し、intoは「動き」（～の中へ）を示します。動詞 O into.... の形で、
He put some apples into the paper bag.
（彼はリンゴを紙袋に入れた。）
The boy threw a stone into the river.
（少年は石を川へ投げ込んだ。）
と物理的に何かを「中へ」入れることを意味しますが、こんな状況を想像して下さい。
into （～にする、変える）
I put my hand into a red paint can.
（私は手を赤いペンキの缶に突っ込んだ」
手を赤いペンキの缶に入れれば、手は赤色に「変わり」ますよね。
intoは、
a.「中に」入れれば
b.中にある状況、状態に「変わる、する」
と２つの意味を持っています。intoの後ろが、box, bag, room, など物理的に何かを「入れるもの」ならば a.ですがそうでなければ、V O into ....
