「新年快樂」っていう、
お正月の時に一番使ってるお祝いの言葉でございます。
直訳するなら、
「新年」＝新しい年。
「快樂」＝楽しさ。
「新年快樂（シンネンクヮイロ）」＝あけましておめでとうございます。
レッスン ツー
「恭喜發財，紅包拿來。」っていう、
しらないといけない言葉でございます。
が、
この言葉を使ったら、
命の危険があるかもしれませんので、
どうかお気をつけてください。 (;◔ิд◔ิ) ！
直訳するなら、
「恭喜」＝おめでとう。
「發財」＝お金いっぱい儲かる。
「恭喜發財（ゴンヒィファーツァイ）」＝お金がいっぱい儲かりますように。
次は、
「紅包」＝お年玉。
「拿來」＝ちょうだい。
「紅包拿來（ホンバォナーラィ）」＝お年玉ちょうだい～

Sadly, I'm in USA, so I didn’t really feel any holiday spirit.

Oh well~
Let's talk about something else.. LOL
How about some Chinese phrases that are commonly used during Chinese New Year?
LESSON ONE
"新年快樂"
This one is the most common phrase when greeting each other.
"新年" means "New Year"
"快樂" means "Happy"
So... what's "新年快樂???"
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Yay~ that's correct! You've got it!!!
Let me see if I can show you how to pronounce those 4 characters...
新＝shin
年＝nyen (like Japanese "yen" with an "ne" sound in the beginning)
快＝quai ("qu" as in "queen"; "ai" as "eye")
樂＝Lo (as in "love")

"恭喜發財，紅包拿來"
This phrase is very popular as well.
We say this A LOT.
HOWEVER...
This phrase might cause you some trouble.
And it has a possibility of even threatening your life...
So please be careful when you say this phrase okay?
Now let's see what it means..
First,
"恭喜" means “Congratulation”
"發財" means “Having lots of fortunes.” (yeah... i mean $$$$$$$$$)
Next,
"紅包" means Red envelope (literally).
"拿來" means Give to me
This is one of the important things we do on our "new years eve."
Every child will receive red envelopes(with money inside) from Grandparents, parents, uncles, aunties, or even older cousins (if they have a job and have "income"...xDD)
If you are an adult...
oops, very sorry to tell you that...
You'll have to give red envelopes to eeeeeeevery family members.
By "eeeeeeeeevery," I mean your parents, your uncles and aunties, your grandparents, your nieces and nephews, and maybe your cousins and your siblings.
How nice is that??

Wish you have lots of fortune, and give me some red envelopes (money).
Now you know why I said "be careful when you say this."
Especially the 2nd part LOOOOOOOOOL
Well, we do say this tho.
The "give me some money" part is like joking around and being funny.
Now let's try to pronounce this...
恭＝Gong (like "own"; with a "go" sound in the beginning)
喜＝C (yup. the "C" sound)
發＝Fa (like "fu" in "fuck" XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD)
財＝Tsai ("sai" is like "si" in "silent"; with a "T" sound in the beginning)
............RARRRRRRR! THIS ONE IS WAY TOO HARD!!! I GIVE UP!!
紅＝Hong (like "home" but without the "m" sound. just dont close your lips LOL)
包＝Bao (Baowow??LOOOOOOL)
拿＝Na
