神奈川県平塚市のダンススクールが母体となっている中学生から大学生までの女子のみで構成されるこのチームは、2012年以来十二年ぶりにYOSAKOIソーラン祭りに参加した。踊り子が学生であるが故に、当然のことながら十二年前の顔ぶれなどいないが、常に若い女子が演舞する優雅な姿が見られるのが、このチームの魅力である。画像は、六月八日土曜日、一番街の三越前会場にて。(SHIPPUU-RANBU [lit., "dancing wildly like gale"; I personally name them "Gale Gals" as their English team name.] Dances in Sapporo after 12-Year Hiatus: This troupe, affiliated with a dance school in Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is composed exclusively of junior-high-school- to college-age females. They made their appearance in the YOSAKOI/Soran Festival in Sapporo for the first time in 12 years after their last participation in this annual event back in 2012. Due to the age limit consequently imposed by the team's member qualifiation, no one who had performed 12 years before danced this year. Still, audience can always enjoy watching elegant dancing by young women. 六月八日、天気も上々の札幌は、三越デパートの傍。
十二年ぶりにYOSAKOIソーラン祭りに登場した、・・・
"疾風っ娘"[Gale Gals]一同。
後方で振られる旗をバックに、
通りを優雅に踊り歩きます。前方のスマホが邪魔ですが・・・、
これも、よさこい祭りならではの光景でしょう。
傘などの小道具、
衣装も鮮やか。
昨年、小生は、東京よさこいで見ました。
先日、X（twetter）で伺ったところでは、
旗が増えたとのこと。
赤い扇子は、いつも通り。
目の前にやって来て、見とれながらシャッターを押し続けました。
旗士も見えてきました。
一人は結構な年少の方だとか。
このような小道具、何と呼んでよいのか分かりませんが、
踊りに彩りを加えます。
顔のメイクも鮮やか。
夏から秋にかけて、本州のどこかでまた見たいです。
