柳苑謳歌：２０１３年に結成された函館のチーム。よさこいをとことん謳歌するをモットーとする。柳苑は焼肉店の名前として知られるが、このチームの場合、如何なる意味が込められているのかは不明である。画像は今年七月十六日に千歳で行われたスカイ・ビア＆YOSAKOIにて。これ以外のイベントでもこのチーム、よく見ました。それだけ旺盛に活動しているということでしょう。(RYUUEN OHKA: the team was formed in 2013 and is based in the city of Hakodate, southern Hokkaido. Their motto is to "perfect and enjoy [rough translation of OHKA--the latter half of the team namethe] YOSAKOI dancing thoroughly." Literal meaning of the first half of the name RYUUEN is "willow garden." Although names of some restaurans specializing in Japanese-style barbecue contain this word, it is not clear what sort of implication the team tries to convey with this. The images posted here are some clips of their stage performance during an event in the city of Chitose on July 16 this year. I have seen this team very often this season elsewhere as well. Their frequent appeanrances to various events are testimonial to the degree of their commitment in the YOSAKOI-SORAN.)
