今回も見出しの英訳についての事例を検証する。

という見出しはどのように訳したら良いか？
例によって、この五つの単語だけを見て訳すのであれば、中学生でもできる。
今回は、まず小生の訳を修正した監訳者の訳を紹介する。それは、
中東情勢
となっていた。
無難な訳ではある。だが、これまで何度も強調していたように、見出しは、それが包摂する部分の内容を反映すべきものである。そこで、この見出しが如何様な文脈で出てくるのかを以下に記述する。
まず、ここに至るまでの部分とその直後がどのような見出しで括られているかを見てみると、以下のようになっている：

ヒントを出せば、以上の抜粋部分を見れば、見出しのInvolvementの主体が何であるのかが分かるであろうから、それを見出しの訳に含めるのが良いということになる。
